This beautiful 1954 Corvette vin#  E54s002577 was purchased by the present owner December 2003 from a private individual through American Street Machines of Atlanta, Georgia. Previous owner was Gregory J. Prichett of Conyers, Georgia who purchased the car approximately July 1983 from Verney E. Bentley III of Woodstock, Georgia. The cars origin appears to be a southern car sold by a dealership in the Atlanta area. This automobile was found in original condition with all its parts and pieces intact and having never been modified or rebuilt. It was a solid find with very little rust or deterioration of the frame and other metal parts. The car was turned over to Ross’ Restoration of Thompson Station, Tennessee for a complete frame off restoration.

Every nut and bolt has been removed and reconditioned or replaced to factory specifications. The fiberglass work is past excellent. The paint has a mirrored finish unequaled in production automobiles of that era. George Ross has done his usual exceptional job in bringing this automobile back to better than original condition. Every part is numbers matching correct as it was delivered in 1954. It is restored to produce the highest quality finish and appearance for today’s discriminating critic. The attempt was to show how the early Corvette’s should have looked upon delivery and also to make this show car competitive with the Concours d’Elegance restorations being widely shown today. Every step of the restoration has been photo documented. George Ross’ last entry at Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance Auto Show was a 1909 Oldsmobile X3 Touring Car winner of The Dupont Peoples Choice and The Amelia Award. His previous restorations have been exhibited at Concours d’Elegance shows including Ault Park and Pebble Beach and also have been appropriately recognized as highest quality work.  This 1954 Corvette Classic Roadster is of that class. This restoration took 13 months and was completed in December 2006.
